This Sunday, September 6, Vero Amore will host another Indian Pizza Night. This go around, however, is in honor – and serves as a fundraiser for the family – of the Twisted Tandoor’s Mukhi Singh who unexpectedly passed on Friday, August 22.
From the Vero Amore website:
A year ago Vero Amore and The Twisted Tandoor teamed up to bring Indian Pizza Night to Vero Amore. Together we had a number of great events in anticipation of a restaurant partnership.
In memory of our dear and passionate foodie friend, Mukhi Singh, we will be having another Indian Pizza Event this Sunday, September 6 at Vero Amore Swan.
Please join Mukhi’s wife, Roop, daughter, Shireen, and our family for a fundraiser to honor Mukhi. All of pizza sales all day will be donated to a charity of the Singh family’s choosing. A special “Mukhi’s Favorite Pizza” will also be offered.
Vero Amore will be open this Sunday during our usual hours from 11am to 9pm.
The Twisted Tandoor Food Truck was launched two and a half years ago by Mukhi and Roop Singh. The news of Mukhi’s passing comes at a time when the Singh family was on track to open a brick-and-mortar Twisted Tandoor location on East Limberlost.
