Presta Coffee Roasters received a well-deserved mention in Eater National’s roundup 14 Small-Batch Coffee Roasters Elevating Your Cup of Joe.

The article includes major cities you would expect, like Brooklyn, San Francisco, and Portland, but also deviated into lesser known locales like Paso Robles, California, Bozeman, Montana and Haddon Township, New Jersey. And, of course, Tucson.

Presta and Stella Java Owner Curtis Zimmerman was called out for his unusual start in the St. Mary’s Hospital lobby and reputation for sourcing beans from prime growing locations like Columbia and Ethiopia.

Zimmerman also got credit for the “community-driven coffee programs” he brings to Tucson, “from Tuesday morning cuppings at the roastery, where Presta’s 120 PSI espresso blend can be sampled, to latte art throw downs.”
