It’s almost too cliche these days to tell you to not get dad a necktie for Father’s Day. Who wears ties anymore anyway? Especially in Tucson around this time of year.

But you know what he probably does like? Beer. Like, good ol’ local craft brew from one of Tucson’s top breweries, Iron John’s.

Okay, maybe we don’t know him that well.

But we do know our readers and they tend to like local craft beer. Even more so when it’s paired with four courses of food.

And that’s exactly what you’ll get if you reserve a seat at Pastiche Saturday, June 18. Iron John’s John Atkinson and Pastiche’s Chef Tim Moore have collaborated on four pairings that would make an ideal primary gift of the evening, a prelude to a primary gift, or a phenomenal gift for yourself that he’ll think was for him.

Menu for Iron John’s Four Course Father’s Day Beer Dinner at Pastiche

First Course

• Beer Battered Oyster Salad – Spinach arugula blend, creamy horseradish dill dressing
• Paired with Pedaler Pilsner

Second Course

• Pepper Crusted Duck Fat Seared Sea Scallops – Saison infused smoked tomato risotto, crispy proscuitto, duck chicharone, goat cheese, orange and saison beurre blanc, micro greens
• Paired with Saison de Juhki

Third Course

• Braised Pork Osso Bucco – Braised navy beans and kale, pan jus, garlic chips, fried kale
• Paired with 1891 Red Ale

Fourth Course

• Presta Porter Vanilla Brownie Milkshake – Classic vanilla milkshake, spiked with Presta Porter and brownie bits, smothered with chocolate Presta Porter sauce
• Paired with Presta Porter

Seats for the dinner are $50 per person plus tax and gratuity and limited to the first 40 reservations, which are required.
