NoRTH Italia will welcome Executive Chef Omar Huerta back to Fox Restaurant Concepts with a community dinner on Wednesday, June 22 at NoRTH Italia, 2995 E. Skyline Drive.

For those who don’t remember, Huerta was previously the executive chef of the Fox Restaurant Concepts restaurant, Wildflower, before beginning a different venture.

“Executive Chef Omar Huerta is now back with Fox Restaurant Concepts after a spell away. We’re glad he’s back and this time, with North. Welcome back Omar!”

The community dinner not only welcomes Huerta to the NoRTH kitchen, but includes a four-course meal with beverage pairings.

This is the third year that NoRTH has offered the community dinners. If you consider yourself a social person, or if you’re simply trying to be more social, the dinners are a great way to eat well and meet other local food lovers that are also social, or perhaps trying to be more social, too. If, however, the thought of sitting at a big community table with a bunch of people you don’t know gives you anxiety, maybe best to sit this one out.

Antipasto

• Caprese — Buffalo mozzarella, heirloom tomato, basil, rosemary focaccia

Primo

• Spaghetti con Le Vongole — Hayden Mills spaghetti, littleneck clam, cherry tomatoes, extra virgin olive oil

Secondo

• Spezzatino Napoletano — Braised beef, housemade spicy sausage, San Marzano tomato, roasted potato, rapini

Dolce

• Gelato al Limoncello — Limoncello, organic peach, black mission fig

The event is priced at $50 per person. Reservations are required.
