A Little Italy at Agustín Kitchen: $48 Cioppino, Salad & Cheesecake For Two

There’s something fantastic about not having to make a decision about trivial things. (Of course many foodies would never dare think of something such as dinner decisions as trivial.)

If you’ve ever attended a beer or wine dinner or any prix-fixe multiple course meal, you know this. And knowing the greatness inherent in not having to make trivial decisions, it’s too bad that too few restaurants offer this kind of “let us take care of everything” style of special more often.

Which is why Agustin Kitchen’s recent announcement of a multiple course, Italian-inspired dinner for two, is welcome news to us lovers of great food.

For a limited time, AK will offer “A Little Italy at Agustin Kitchen” consisting of a small pre-starter of house-brined olives, two small arugala salads, two cioppino entrees, and a shared cheesecake for $48. A bottle of Sangiovese can be added for a nominal $15, which according to our calculations is half as much as it typically goes for in the restaurant.

The special is only available Wednesdays from 5-10 p.m.

A Little Italy at Agustin Kitchen Menu

First Course
  • Small mixed olive nine varieties, aromatics
  • Simple Salad – organic baby arugula, shaved piave, sliced almonds, lemon oil
Second Course
  • Cioppino – mussels, prawns, diver scallop, white fish, calamari, lemon, smoked tomato
Third Course
  • Shared Cheesecake
