YESnet, an organization supporting Raytheon employees with less than five years of experience, is partnering with five local beverage companies to host a block party.
The event will take place from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, November 5 in the Three Wells Distilling and Ten 55 Brewery parking lots.
The following vendors will be present at the event serving beer, spirits, and coffee:
The event will also feature food trucks Fat Noodle and Blacktop Grill. For entertainment, a DJ will be present.
Tickets for the party are priced at $25 per person and include five drink tickets. Tickets can be purchased online or at the door, and food will be sold separately. Proceeds will benefit S.Y.STEM Coalition, an organization geared towards “getting your kid excited about science, technology, engineering, and math.”
“As an engineer myself, I am so happy that we are able to help the S.Y.STEM Coalition,” Three Wells co-founder Chris Dudding said. “It’s so important to point kids towards these fields.”
The YESnet Block Party is the first of many future collaborative events for the five local breweries.
“This area has such cool things going on in it, and we are so happy to such great partners in Ten 55, Yellow Brick, Green Feet, and Hamilton,” Dudding said. “It’s just awesome to see everyone come together to help S.Y.STEM.”
