Even November is rosé season in southern Arizona.
Willcox-based Carlson Creek Vineyard is releasing their first 100% grenache rosé on Veterans Day, November 11.
Guests at the tasting room at both the Willcox and Scottsdale tasting rooms can receive one complimentary taste of the rosé, while veterans and active service members can receive a full complimentary full tasting, which includes nine different wines.
“The terroir brings out a very balanced acidity with a lingering, fresh finish,” said co-owner and winemaker John Carlson.
Raspberry and strawberry notes make the rosé a lovely pair with goat cheese and lighter dishes such as salads and shellfish dishes.
Bottles of the rosé are $21.
