Recently-opened BIRD Modern Provisions & Bar can obviously work magic with poultry, but there’s one unique cauliflower dish worth a trip: the Roasted Cauliflower.
A misunderstood vegetable, cauliflower has been trending as a low-carb replacement for mashed potatoes and rice, but the results just aren’t the same as the carb-loaded version.
Nutty, slightly charred cauliflower sits on a bed of eggplant nage and black garlic oil with raisin kale carrot slaw on top.
The cauliflower and black garlic oil have a pleasant slight bitterness with savory depth complemented by the meaty-tasting eggplant nage. The slaw adds layers of texture with a touch of sweetness form golden raisins.
