The B Line, a cozy, light-filled space tucked away on North Fourth Avenue, offers affordable meals, “service with a smile,” and a fabulously curated Instagram feed for you to scroll through while you await your order.
A popular breakfast choice, served from 8 a.m. – noon on weekends, is the Tall Stack of pancakes. “If it isn’t ordered as the main meal, it’s definitely ordered as a side,” admitted a server at The B Line.
The pancakes are deceptive by name — they are, in fact, a combination of a crepe and pancake. These thinner “crepe-like cakes” are served with pecan butter and pure maple syrup.
The spongy stack soaks up the rich maple syrup and can be enjoyed as is, but the real star is that nutty pecan butter. I’d bathe in it if I could.
You have the option of a Short ($4.95) or Tall Stack ($6.95), can add eggs, throw in a cookie or baked treat… the options are pretty much endless.
Need a good drink pairing? Try a classic mimosa or chai latte — both solid choices.
When your eye catches the rotating cake display (and it will), grab a slice of cake or pie to go. No crumb from the chosen slice of carrot cake was left uneaten.
Breakfast is served from 8 – 11 a.m. Monday through Friday and from 8 a.m. – noon Saturday and Sunday.
The B Line is located at 621 N. Fourth Ave. For more information, visit thebline.xyz/breakfast.
