Tucson Doobie, in collaboration with Tucson Foodie, is excited to announce the second installment of our popular dining experience, the Stoney Summer Supper Series. Featuring cannabis-infused culinary delights and paired with non-alcoholic adult beverages, the feast is an experience designed for your dimensional well-being.
Casino Del Sol and Blue Moon invite you to treat your taste buds at the Culinary Experience and stay for the Iron Chef Tucson Competition, Saturday, July 22nd at Casino Del Sol’s beautiful Grand Ballroom. Join us as two of Tucson’s finest compete for a chance to be crowned Iron Chef Tucson. Chef Devon Sanner of Zio Peppe will battle current Iron Chef Kenneth Foy of Dante’s Fire.
On Friday and Saturday from 8 – 11 p.m., Mamma Coal will be playing country tunes for both the living and the dead. Sunday from 7 – 10 p.m., a cello quartet will play classical music — a perfect way to end the haunted weekend.
Tickets are $45 per person and include entry to the decorated Savoy Opera House, two spooky cocktails, individual charcuterie snacks, live music, and all other activities. Keep in mind that this is a 21-and-over event and you’ll want to buy your tickets sooner than later on Eventbrite.
The highly anticipated “Barbie” movie has already taken the world by storm, captivating audiences worldwide (it hasn’t even been released yet). It’s set to pop into theaters on Friday, July 21, and a few restaurants and chefs are celebrating its release here in Tucson.
Bistro at the J is an all-ages, kosher community dining experience with games for family fun, good conversation, and of course, great food! Full menu with appetizers, entrees, vegan and gluten-free options, kids menu, drinks, and dessert! All food is pre-order with reservation. The taproom on the north side of town is hosting a Siembra Valles Tequila Tasting session. It includes three one-ounce pours of Fortaleza Blanco, Siembra Valles Ancestral, and Chacolo Azul Telcruz. Tickets are available in-store or online for $30 per person.
Casa Video and Film Bar has a big birthday party planned for Friday, July 21, at 7 p.m.
Actually, the team has been celebrating all year and, most recently, this month, but the big shebang on July 21 will include ’80s movies beginning at 10 a.m., the classic film “Can’t Buy Me Love” starts at 7 p.m. (it was filmed in Tucson), and the food truck CowPig will be making its first appearance in the Casa parking lot starting at 6 p.m.
