There’s a heck of a lot of new things to do!
Don’t forget, you can always check out our Things to Do section on the website to check out what’s going on any day of the week.

The taproom on the north side of town is hosting a Doc Swinson’s Bourbon Tasting session. It includes three one-ounce pours of Doc Swinson’s Bossa Nova, Doc Swinson’s El Cuerpo, and Doc Swinson’s T&B Barrel Pick. Tickets are available in-store or online for $30 per person.
How often do you get the chance to try an exclusive garlic loaf from Barrio Bread, learn how to grow your own garlic, and even taste garlic-flavored ice cream? Well, it’s at Mission Garden’s Garlic Festival from 8 – 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 29, of course.
Also, aside from knowing that there won’t be any vampires at the event, the Garlic Festival is absolutely free to attend at 946 W. Mission Ln. Mission Garden’s staff and volunteers planted multiple varieties of garlic during the winter and have been tending it carefully for months. Now, they’re excited to show off what they’ve grown at the Garlic Festival in July.
Bring cash to play! Proceeds from this event are used to pay for youth scholarships for camp. We’ve raised $17,500 this year which has allowed us to enroll EVERY child that wanted a spot in one of our summer programs.

The sad reality is that many of the families we serve lack some of the basic kitchen equipment for their kids to effectively participate in our program. That’s where YOU come in! Bring us your new or gently used kitchen essentials so we can redistribute them to the families in our program to ensure that all of our students are getting the most out of their TTFFP experience.
Tiki Tuesday is back! Enjoy tiki-themed cocktails every Tuesday with live steel drum music and a themed food menu from Terraza Garden Patio & Lounge. If you enjoy your festive mug while sipping on our tasty cocktails then be sure to take one home. All our tiki mugs are available for purchase. Don’t forget to wear your Hawaiian shirt!
These salads, made with fresh, local ingredients are sure to be your new Summer picnic go-to! An optional, complimentary glass of wine will be paired and served with dinner for students 21 and over. Students are welcome to bring their own wine, beer, etc. to enjoy during class.
