Friday, May 31 is the inauguration of Tucson Doobie’s monthly events! Aptly dubbed the “Extrava-Ganja”, these events feature unique themes and experiences. Designed with the cannabis connoisseur in mind, Tucson Doobie brings together select cannabis brands, DJs, classes, shows, and more.
From 6 – 8 p.m. on Friday, May 31 at Moroso Wellness Studio, 2231 S. Fourth Ave., attendees will be treated to free cannabis from sponsors D2 Dispensary and Sol Flower Dispensary.
Vape, dab, or smoke your way into the night and cure your munchies with delicious Neopolitan-style pizza from Bailey’s Artisan Pizza. Expect other treats as well, like homemade ice cream by Dr. Heather Moroso (enjoy medicated or non-medicated) and housemade aguas frescas.
In addition, expect a sneak peek of Dr. Moroso’s new apothecary product line.
Over a decade in the making, Dr. Moroso has been utilizing local plants and CBD to craft nourishing and medicated salves, tinctures, sprays, lotions, shampoos, and more. Although the launch of her BoticArizona product line is a couple of months away, attendees will get to try her products and learn more about our region’s native plants and their medicinal benefits.
Get there by 6:30 p.m. for a live and interactive CBD salve demo class and learn Dr. Moroso’s process. You even get to take samples home!
Woman-ing the mic is Priscilla Fernandez of Lady HaHa Comedy. They were voted Tucson Weekly’s “Best Comedian of 2024” so expect side-splitting laughter to enhance your high.
Tucson Doobie is also proud to feature Music with a Purpose, led by veteran DJ of deep house beats DJ Doc Zion. Music with a Purpose’s mission is to support Healing Frontline Heroes, a non-profit that provides access to indigenous plant medicine for vets and first responders through partnerships with the Seri Comcaac Nation in Sonora, Mexico.
With their help, veterans are able to access Bufo, psilocybin, and other important therapies.
There will also be vendors like The Desert Alchemist, Simply Professional Formula, Eco Gro, Healing Frontline Heroes, and more.
Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 at the door, and can be purchased here. If you’re a Tucson Doobie Insider, you get in free and enjoy additional perks from Tucson Doobie!
