What began with passion and a food truck is now a local favorite family-owned spot for “bougie comfort food.” CowPig and Coop are about to turn up the heat.
If you’ve ever wanted to see what happens when classic comfort food collides with culinary creativity (and a little cannabis magic), this is your night.
Coop is best known for crave-worthy staples like cheeseburgers and chicken tenders, but for this special event, the guys are going all-in. Expect playful twists and bold flavors, including:
Each course will feature thoughtfully infused elements, curated to enhance the meal and elevate the evening. Non-alcoholic mocktails will be served throughout the evening.
Tickets are $85 plus tax and gratuity.
Owner and father, Javier Castro, shared his excitement for the event.
“Four years ago I had a vision: bring the Tucson cannabis community and our CowPig fam together — and now it’s happening,” Castro said.
Castro credits the Tucson Community for bringing his dream to fruition.
“From street hustle to collab dinners… y’all made this possible,” he said.
It’s part community investment, and all family values. Castro is excited to pass the torch to his sons.
“But what really makes this special — I’m proud to watch my sons take over the kitchen that night,” he said. “It’s a full father and sons takeover, probably the first of its kind in the city — and I get to sit back, vibe, and be a proud papa bear.”
The Stoney Summer Supper Series is a four-months long summer infused dining adventure, featuring one chef a month and their chosen five-course menu. Now in its second run, the program has hosted such chefs as Wendy Garcia and Riley Chandler. Each dinner is unique, blending the chef’s vision with a new element- cannabis. This dinner is sponsored by NatureMed Dispensary, so expect to try their offerings throughout the evening. NatureMed will be joined by one of their house brands (and another Tucson local) FENO Cannabis, who will be on deck to make sure the vibes are indeed… high.
Tickets to the event include the five-course dinner, paired mocktails, opportunities to try products from FENO and NatureMed Dispensary, and a special goody bag to take home, courtesy of NatureMed Dispensary.
