Tucson Foodie and Casino Del Sol will bring together more than 20 Tucson food trucks for three epic events with food, music, and community at AVA Amphitheater.
This celebration of Tucson’s incredible food truck culture has lined DJ Junes, who will spin from the AVA Amphitheater stage.
Bring your appetite and settle into the amphitheater’s shaded seating with a drink from the bar while enjoying the music and atmosphere. It’s the perfect way to experience Tucson’s thriving food truck scene all in one place.
Tucson has more food trucks per capita than cities like LA and Austin, yet they’re harder to find because they don’t cluster in pods the way they do elsewhere. That means some of the best food in town is rolling around the city, waiting to be discovered.
We’re making it easier by bringing them all together for a day. Food trucks have always played a huge role in Tucson’s culinary evolution — some even go on to open brick-and-mortar spots. One of my favorites, Antojo Poblano, started as a truck before becoming a full-fledged restaurant. Boriken Modern Puerto Rican Cuisine, who will be at the event, also recently opened a brick-and-mortar, Batey Puerto Rican Gastronomy. Who’s next? You might just find your new favorite here.
The free admission event at Casino Del Sol’s AVA Amphitheater, 5655 W. Valencia Rd., starts at 7 p.m. on three dates:
Here’s what’s on the menu:
Each roundup will have popular repeats shuffled in with some new trucks so you can always get your favorites and try some new stuff
This is your chance to taste some of Tucson’s best food trucks, enjoy live music, and immerse yourself in the city’s street food culture.
