Time and time again, restaurants can outgrow their current spot and situation and then move on to bigger buildings to better serve their guests. Then, sometimes restaurants move to a totally different side of town and your whole world is flipped upside down.

However, that’s not the case with El Antojo Poblano and its newest move.

The popular food cart is hosting the grand opening of its new brick-and-mortar restaurant on Thursday, February 9. It’s actually near the location they’ve already been serving at since 2019 — now it’s in a much larger building at 1108 W. St. Mary’s Rd.

“Without the support of our clients and friends, this wouldn’t have been possible,” the crew behind the restaurant shared on Instagram. “This is for all of you.”

If you haven’t had a chance to stop by the food cart prior to the grand opening of the brick-and-mortar restaurant, the Cemita is a must-try along with the Chalupas Poblanas, Gorditas Rellanas, and the Tacos Ahogados.

Starting Thursday, February 9, the restaurant will be open from 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. on Monday-Thursday and 8 a.m. – 9 p.m. on Friday-Saturday (closed on Sunday).

El Antojo Poblano is now located at 1108 W. St. Mary’s Rd. For more information, visit el-antojo-poblano.square.site and follow Al Antojo Poblano on Instagram.
