Rincon Mountain Grill at Forty Niner Country Club will kick off its new “Palates of the World” series with a weeklong spotlight on Filipino cuisine. From Aug. 4-10, diners can experience “A Culinary Journey to the Philippines,” a special dinner offering crafted by executive chef Jake Bloom.
The 3-course menu costs $40 and presents traditional Filipino flavors with an elevated touch. The meal begins with crunchy Lumpia 2 Way, followed by rich and tangy Adobo Pork Belly. Dessert features a Palitaw & Ube Ice Cream Sandwich, combining chewy rice cake and creamy purple yam.
For $10 more, guests can enhance their meal with themed beverages. Choose between the Kagatan cocktail or a Mangorind Dark & Stormy Mocktail, both designed to pair with the menu’s flavors.
This limited-time dinner is available alongside the regular menu nightly from 4-8 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday, 4-9 p.m. Thursday through Saturday.
Guests will enjoy views of the Forty Niner golf course while savoring globally inspired dishes. Whether you’re a neighborhood regular or visiting for the first time, the setting blends casual comfort with refined dining.
Following the Filipino-themed week, the “Palates of the World” series will continue with new international menus. From September 29 to October 5, the spotlight shifts to German cuisine. Moroccan fare takes center stage from November 17 to November 23. Each installment will feature a chef-curated, 3-course dinner highlighting bold regional flavors.
This rotating series offers Tucson food lovers a chance to explore world cuisines without leaving the desert. Events will highlight global traditions while embracing local ingredients and talent.
