Kingfisher’s Summer Road Trip Goes East Coast + Wine Dinner [PHOTOS]

Kingfisher Bar & Grill’s culinary road trip continues with a journey to the East Coast. From Tuesday, August 26 through Saturday, September 13, the restaurant will feature a menu of seafood-driven small plates, entrées, desserts, and beverages inspired by the Atlantic seaboard.

A special five-course prix fixe wine dinner will take place Wednesday, September 10, at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $99 per person, not including tax and gratuity, and reservations are required.

East Coast Small Plates

  • Arancini — Lobster and sweet corn risotto balls, cognac and chive crema
  • Crab & Shrimp Salad — Deep sea red crab, bay shrimp, lemon verbena aioli, rhubarb-peach gastrique, chives, mesclun and radicchio greens
  • Soft Shell Crab Sliders — Tempura battered, toasted egg buns, tart cherry and sriracha aioli, pickled peach, Brussels sprouts slaw

Entrées

  • Seafood Newberg — Lobster, tail-on shrimp, scallops, cod, chives, parsnips, carrots, peas, cognac cream sauce, puff pastry crisp
  • Monkfish — Pan-roasted loin with golden beet and rhubarb beurre blanc, crispy parsnips, mustard and garlic roasted fingerling potatoes, sautéed spinach
  • Double Pork Chop — Bone-in, blackened, maple-thyme reduction, apple chips, roasted golden beets, bacon-roasted Brussels sprouts

September 10 Wine Dinner

Guests can enjoy a curated five-course menu with pairings:

  • Amuse Bouche: Seafood Newberg
  • First Course: Crab & Shrimp Salad — Paired with The Red Shirt Cocktail
  • Second Course: Arancini — Paired with Hana Makgeolli
  • Third Course: Tempura Soft Shell Crab Sliders — Paired with Equilibrium Brewing “eMCee” Hazy IPA
  • Fourth Course: Monkfish — Paired with Dr. Konstantin Frank, Rkatsiteli
  • Fifth Course: Buttermilk & Thyme Panna Cotta — Paired with Don Ciccio & Figli, “Nocino” Walnut Liqueur

A Road Trip Through Flavor

Kingfisher’s Summer Road Trip series runs through October, presenting seven regionally inspired menus. Following the East Coast, the series travels internationally with upcoming stops in Jamaica and Senegal.
