The weather is getting mighty toasty in Tucson. So, embrace the heat, raise your glass, and make a toast to a local rosé sparkling wine.
Sand-Reckoner Vineyards is throwing a party with their small batch of Sangiovese Pét-Nat from 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. on Saturday, June 3.
For one day only, co-owners Rob and Sarah Hammelman are letting the bubbles flow at their Tucson tasting room. The duo harvest their own grapes and make the wine from their 12-acre Willcox Bench vineyards. At 4,300 feet, the vineyard sits atop a bed of limestone and sandy soil.
The Hammelmans opened their first ever tasting room in Tucson’s downtown historic Warehouse Arts District in February.
You Sly Dog food truck will also be joining the bash, just outside the tasting room from 4 – 8 p.m. You Sly Dog is a locally owned business that delivers a new twist to some of the classic hotdog originals you’re familiar with.
Sand-Reckoner Vineyards is located at 510 N. 7th Ave., Unit 170, and the Pét-Nat Party will run from 11 a.m. – 9 p.m.
