It’s round two of dining in the gardens and you’re in for a treat.

Café Botánica at the Tucson Botanical Gardens is hosting the second “Farm to Fork” Summer Feast Series dinner on Thursday, July 18 from 6 – 8 p.m.

The garden setting is a wonderland of desert flora and fauna with birds chirping — delightful soothing surrounds to help you wind down at the end of the day.

Take your seat at a farm-style table beside neighbors and soon-to-be friends with live music playing in the background. You’re welcome to bring your own drinks, so don’t be shy to pop some bubbly or pour a glass of wine.

The star of the show, however, is the thoughtfully curated menu, which highlights produce farmed and cultivated in the Sonoran Desert.

The first dinner in the series featured fresh salad greens and tilapia from local farm Merchant’s Garden, buttery empanadas, grilled veg, moreish corn in the husk, and was sweetened by an orange-rosemary olive oil cake adorned with candied citrus jewels — all served family style.

The up-and-coming menu will be just as spectacular, showcasing ingredients sourced from local farms — watch this space.
