Tavolino Ristorante Italiano is serving a three-course Sagrantino Wine Dinner from 6 – 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 15.

If you’re a fan of wine this is one dinner you’ll want to consider.

Tavolino is celebrating the release of the 2015 Sagrantino and other vintage wines from the Mattoni family of wine. When it comes to the meal, you’re being treated with the likes of Torta al Testo — which is a cast iron baked bread with prosciutto, burrata cheese, and arugula — and Porchetta di Maiale.

Antipasti
  • Torta al Testo – traditional cast iron baked bread with prosciutto, burrata cheese, and arugula
    • Paired with Lingue Arneis, Pietro Rinaldi
  • Gobbi alla Perugina – lightly fired cardoons parmesan style, layered with parmigiano cheese, mozzarella, tomato sauce, fresh basil, and baked in our wood-fired oven
    • Paired with Cajo, Terre de Trinci
Primo
  • Tagliatelle Fatte a Mano alla Norcina – house-made tagliatelle, a slowly braised ragu made with sausage, ricotta, pecorino, and Umbrian black truffle
    • Paired with Sagrantino di Montefalco, Lorenzo Mattoni
Secondo
  • Porchetta di Maiale – slowly roasted pork loin from an open-fired rotisserie, rosemary, fennel, and garlic
    • Paired with Sagrantino di Montefalco, Lorenzo Mattoni
Dolce
  • Torta al Testo – traditional cast iron baked bread with prosciutto, burrata cheese, and arugula
