Daddyburger

238 North 4th AvenueDowntown

"Daddyburger makes delicious smash burgers but they're also known to be the father of crispy French fries! Say goodbye to those floppy fries from national chain restaurants and say hello to Daddyburger's made-to-order delights. Plus, it's always fun to hang out, people-watch, and eat on The Boxyard's shaded outdoor patio."

Divine Bovine

1021 North Wilmot RoadMidtown

Benjamin Rine, owner of Divine Bovine, is passionate about his fries — so much so that there's an entire section of the menu devoted to all the different kinds. Get them loaded with Roast Beef, Poutine, Buffalo Ranch... you name it. Spuds lovers can enjoy potato crisps and tater Tots, too, with a mess of available dipping sauces. Rine loves his fries so much that in his carnivore-focused restaurant, he wants everyone to be able to eat them: They're prepared in a dedicated fryer to ensure that they are vegan-friendly.

Kingfisher Bar & Grill

2564 East Grant RoadUniversity & 4th Ave

Kingfisher keeps it classy with everything from their seafood to their salads, and their shoestring fries are no exception. Oh, sure, they've got sweet potato chips and big fries, too, but for our money, those shoestring fries are where it's at — thin and crispy and excellent.

Little Anthony's Diner

7010 East Broadway BoulevardEastside

"Walking into Little Anthony's Diner is like stepping back into the 1950s. The French fries, though — they're fresh, crispy, and from the present. If you really want to get wild at Little Anthony's, dip those fries in a milkshake. Stir it around and chomp 'em down!"

Mama Louisa’s Italian Restaurant

2041 South Craycroft RoadMidtown

A glorious, gooey mess, Mama Louisa's Trash Can Waffle Fries are layered and seasoned with Italian pico, Alfredo cheese sauce, and your choice of brisket, pork, or chicken. They're hearty enough to be their own meal.
"I go just for the loaded fries. They were straight up dumped out of a coffee can onto the table in front of us and they tasted so good it was ridiculous. Try them."

Midtown Vegan Deli & Market

5071 East 5th StreetMidtown

Since opening in 2022, the crew at Midtown Vegan Deli has been shown a ton of love and support from the community, and for those who have paid a visit, it’s been a treat sifting through the meat-free selections.
"The ranch fries at Midtown Vegan Deli are so perfect."

Opa’s Grill On Fourth Avenue

500 North 4th AvenueDowntown

Opa's Grill on Fourth serves up fries with a Greek twist. Lightly seasoned with Mediterranean herbs and a hint of lemon zest, the fries are crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Get them on the side of your gyro sandwich or Greek salad, or as a meal themselves loaded with your favorite gyro toppings, including feta, tomato, onions, and tzatziki. These same fries can be found at Opa's Best at 4590 E. Broadway Blvd.

Redbird Scratch Kitchen + Bar

6444 North Oracle RoadNorthwest

"I mean, there’s no pressure when it comes to sharing the Green Chile Bacon Waffle Fries but it’s a fun dish to gather around with others. The waffle fries, which are made with Kennebec potatoes grown in Willcox, Arizona, are provided in small batches by the Arizona company Frites Street."

Slice & Ice

1905 West Grant RoadWestside

Sure, they're known best for pizza and heroes, but Slice & Ice also has some seriously good crispy crinkle fries. Get the Fancy Fries, with garlic, hot ranch, pizza, or ranch topping, or go for the unadorned fries. Got a fry-loving family? You can get "a whole bunch of fries" for $7.50; add $2.50 for the fancy version.
"The Hot Ranch fries from Slice & Ice are all :fire: and no :ice_cube:!"

The Jackrabbit Lounge

2000 North Oracle RoadMidtown

"Some of my favorite fries in Tucson. They're cut like thin little moons. They have the right amount of crispy and seasoning. Perfect. So good I just start eating them and forget all about the ketchup they come with and the sandwich on my plate and the room I'm in and the fact that I have a body. Just fully focused on the fries. A full fry focus, if you will. Apparently that's an achievable level of consciousness and it's only available at The Jackrabbit Lounge."

The Parish

6453 North Oracle RoadNorthwest

The Parish sticks to its Southern gastropub roots, even down to the twice-cooked fries. Warning: you may find yourself dreaming of the special sauce long after you've scarfed down the generous portion of perfectly crispy potatoes.
"As a self-proclaimed French fry fan girl, I'm gonna award Parish with the best fries in the city! Perfectly fried and served with a creamy, tangy fry sauce and a simple blend of seasoning. They soak fresh cut Russetts in water and vinegar overnight, then low fry for batch one. When you order em, they fry them up again to crispy perfection. And the seasoning is so simple it lets the potatoes and the process shine: salt, fresh pepper, parsley and chives. Get 'em at happy hour and you'll thank me later."

Tohono Chul Garden Bistro

7366 North Paseo Del NorteOro Valley

Nestled in a picturesque desert setting, this spot serves breakfast, lunch, and afternoon tea. Enjoy the plant-filled courtyard, serene fountains, and a hummingbird garden patio—a beloved retreat for Tucson locals.
"These are some of the best fries in town. Extra crispy!"

Wildflower American Cuisine

7037 North Oracle RoadNorthwest

Taking a more gourmet approach, Wildflower offers truffle fries that are a cut above the average. Lightly seasoned with parmesan and chives, they are crispy, tender, and aromatic, providing a sophisticated taste that pairs well with the restaurant's upscale ambiance.

Zinburger

6390 East Grant RoadEastside

Zinburger's got a wide array of flavorful fry options — zucchini fries with parm and ranch, sweet potato fries with a yogurt dipping sauce, green chile fries, truffle fries, the list goes on! Load them up with bacon, cheese, and chives, or stick to the classic basket. We won't judge either way!
