Three Wells Distilling Company to close after 5 years in business

May 17, 20191 min read

Local distillery Three Wells Distilling Company announced that they will officially close their doors at 3780 E. 44th St., Ste. 120 after five years in business.

Five years, 10 products, amazing experiences. Three Wells Distilling Company is officially closing. With heavy hearts and fond memories this Saturday will be the last day we are open. Come down to the distillery between 10am and 3pm for $10 bottles of whatever we have left. Cash only up to $100, credit excepted [sic] beyond that. We are so humbled by the amazing support Tucson, and AZ has given us over the years. The relationships we have gained, and the awesome people we have gotten to know make the whole thing worth it! Please come see us! We will miss all of you as we transition to new adventures!

With heavy heart,
Matt Montgomery
Co-founder/Distiller
Three Wells Distilling Company

The announcement comes months after the closure of their Arizona spirits tasting room Series 19.

Three Wells gained a reputation for its prickly pear spirits and Mt. Lemmon Gin, made with alligator juniper from Mt. Lemmon.

Three Wells Distilling Company is located at 3780 E. 44th St. Ste. 120. Keep up with Three Wells Distilling Company on Facebook.

@Talegacoffee at 177 N. Church Ave. transforms into @_Velvetcowboy after 4 pm, bringing cocktails, tapas, disco lights, and a lively bar atmosphere to the same space. The dual concept comes from the team behind Talega Coffee Co., with coffee and scratch-made breakfast and lunch served during the day, followed by happy hour and bar service at night.

Velvet Cowboy’s grand opening is Oct. 16, with upcoming events including drag brunches, DJs, and live music.đŸȘ©

“Opening this place feels a little surreal. To now have a space where we can bring together coffee, food, art, booze, and all the weird things we love feels like a reflection of how far we’ve come.” —Tyler Melo
