Updated March 13, 2024

Top of the morning to you!

Experience the luck of the Irish in Tucson with this handful of cozy pubs and restaurants, which either serve up Irish-inspired fare, offer a spirited ambiance, or pour Irish spirits. While Tucson may have a modest selection of Irish spots (okay, there’s less than 10), each one offers a taste of the Emerald Isle in the heart of the desert.

The Canyon’s Crown Restaurant & Pub

Guinness, Harp, Smithwicks, Kilkenny — you name it. Canyon’s Crown has a great selection of Irish staples behind the bar. On St. Patrick’s Day, the restaurant serves up corned beef and cabbage. Every other day of the year, there’s several Irish and English standards like Fish and Chips, Bangers and Mash, and Scotch Eggs.

Over on the east side of town, lies a little bit of Ireland in the desert. There’s plenty of Irish whiskey on hand, tasty brews, a selection of wine, and pool tables to keep the party goin’, whether it be with your friends or strangers. They also have a nifty bar food menu like the Guinness Brat, Murphys Reuben, and Irish Nachos — fries smothered in beer cheese, mozzarella, onions, bacon, and jalapeño.
