30+ Restaurants That Can Hold Your Next Big (or Small) Party

It’s that time of year to get together with your loved ones, friends, and co-workers, and if you’ve got a big group, that can prove to be difficult. We’ve put together this list of private dining rooms and restaurant-adjacent event spaces that are ideal for a family gathering, business function, celebration, team building, and more.

Many of the details vary depending on your group, so check with the restaurant coordinator for details, such as allowance for decorations and if they offer audio-visual equipment.

Agustin Kitchen

Agustin Kitchen has two unique spaces for your next meeting, conference, or corporate dinner. The Cabinet Room can seat up to 70 people, making it ideal for larger parties. For smaller groups, Agustin’s private rooftop area seats 35 guests.

Custom menus can be designed with advance notice and make use of local and organic ingredients in the dishes.

Arizona Inn

Offering vintage Southwestern hospitality and charm, the Arizona Inn’s event and meeting spaces are ideal for intimate gatherings in Tucson.

For breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, or cocktail receptions, four different meeting and banquet rooms are available. The largest space, the Tucson Room, seats 180. Their African Room and Safari Room each seat 150 people and the Flandrau House holds 30 guests.

Larger parties

Barrio Brewing’s IPA Room is adjacent to where the brewing magic happens. The wooden cabinets are imported from India and make for a global vibe, while the electric blue hops dangling from the high ceilings add to the space’s unique design. The space seats up to 165 guests.

If you’re looking to accommodate a private party of up to 60 people, the Old Brewery towards the back of the main dining room is available.

Smaller parties

The two spaces within the IPA Room are also available. Barrio’s Cellar seats 50 people and the Atrium seats between 30 and 40 people.

Audio-visual equipment is available for use.

Borderlands Brewing Company

The Social Club at Borderlands is the revamped space that launched in 2022. Their patio space is also available to rent, with audio-visual equipment available.

Pinches food truck is a permanent Borderlands feature. They’re dedicated to providing Mexican-infused food for beer lovers; the perfect addition to any party.

Bottega Michelangelo

If you’re looking for something in Oro Valley, Bottega Michelangelo has you covered with their casual Southern Italian neighborhood kitchen. The restaurant features contemporary elements and popular Michelangelo artifacts creating the feel of a modern Italian kitchen.

Bottega Michelangelo’s private dining room facility can accommodate 28 people. The entire restaurant is available for private parties on Sundays with a minimum of 100 people and a maximum of 200.

Brother John’s Beer, Bourbon & BBQ

Brother John’s currently offers full-service catering and multiple private dining options. The Wildcat Room is an 1800-square-foot private dining room that can fit 15-200 people. They’ve also got their 200-square-foot dog-friendly Biergarten complete with patio games.

They also offer full offsite catering including food, beverages, and Brother John’s staff that can service 15-150 people. You can also inquire about a full restaurant takeover for up to 400 people. Limited availability based on the day of the week as well as the time of year.

Cafe a la C’art

Café à la C’Art is proud to feature Tucson’s most beautiful patio and dining rooms to host your next special event. Their catering company, Carte Blanche Catering, emphasizes classic and contemporary cooking, utilizing local ingredients with a focus on regional cuisine. Each event is customized to the client’s taste, budget, and specifications.

The Canyon’s Crown Restaurant & Pub

Canyon’s Crown has a casual vibe with British favorite pub eats, dartboards, and a selection of 20 beers on draft.

The dimly lit Main Dining Room leads to a bright room with cherry-red booths tucked in the back of the restaurant. The Private Space seats 15 people comfortably but can accommodate 20. With advance notice, a custom menu can be created.

Commoner & Co.

Seat up to 30 people in Commoner & Co’s Private Dining Room, which has a modern, classy atmosphere. For mingling, the Cocktail Lounge is also available for rent, accommodating around 32 people.

Custom menus are available upon request.

Culinary Dropout

The open, colorful spaces at Culinary Dropout are heavily decorated with artwork, which adds to their fun and lively atmosphere.

They have several group dining spaces available to rent. The Coop is their private bar area and accommodates up to 130 people. It is fully equipped with audio-visual capabilities. The Main Dining Room has a mix of high-top tables and regular dining tables, accommodating up to 100 guests. In addition, the covered patio seats 80 people, with their different lounges accommodating anywhere from 12 – 100 people.

Dante’s Fire

Dante’s Fire has a casual dining space complemented by unique furnishings, such as the stained glass windows near the front door.

The award-winning team can do it all, from catering a buffet to accommodating a simple cocktail hour with various appetizers. The Private Dining Room seats up to 40 people.

El Charro Café (Oro Valley)

The Oro Valley location’s Main Room accommodates 70 guests, the Patio can accommodate 35, and their Purple Room seats 45 guests.

El Charro Café – Ventana

At the Ventana location, El Charro’s Red Room comfortably seats 40 guests, the Blue Room seats 24, and finally, their Patio accommodates 24 guests.

El Corral

As one of the oldest restaurants east of Oracle Road, El Corral’s decor highlights its Wild West roots.

The ranch-themed restaurant’s Round Room is a small, private dining room that the general manager refers to as a King Arthur’s round table. The room can seat up to twelve guests. There is no cost to reserve the room, so make sure to do so several weeks in advance.

Feast

Feast has an upscale bistro feel. Its small wine cellar and vegetable garden add a rustic touch. The restaurant changes its menu each month but consistently features vegetarian and gluten-free dishes.

Feast’s Private Dining Room accommodates between 30 and 50 guests. Minimum food orders and room rentals depend on the day of the week and the season. Typically, on Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday nights, a $1,200 food and beverage minimum is required.

Additionally, the patio can seat 20 guests privately. Audio-visual equipment is available.

Hacienda Del Sol Guest Ranch Resort

Hacienda Del Sol has two restaurants: The Grill and the Terraza Garden Patio & Lounge. For private dining rooms, five unique spaces are available between the two.

The Garden Patio and Lounge is available for private parties of up to 150 guests. The patio is heated and air-conditioned, making it a comfortable choice at any time of the day.

The hotel’s Joesler Room seats up to 25 guests and includes a private patio.

The Historic Library seats up to 14 guests. Find hand-carved wooden beams on the ceiling and natural light from the open windows showing off the view of the resort’s gardens.

The Murphey Room seats up to 20 guests and features a cozy fireplace in the room.

Finally, the North Dining Room has mountain views and accommodates up to 32 guests. The dining space is connected to an open patio called Sandy’s Vista.

While private events include a customizable three-course menu, smaller groups can order from an a la carte menu. Appetizer stations are also available for receptions.

A handful of private dining rooms are offered at J.W. Marriott Starr Pass.

Arizona’s culinary traditions are preserved by combining Mexican, Native American, and cowboy influences at their Signature Grill. They host private parties for up to 35 people.

Find Mediterranean eats at Primo, which has a fun and casual dining environment. The Family Table seat groups up to 30 people. They are only open for dinner Tuesday through Saturday evenings.

Catalina Barbecue Co. & Sports Bar has a modern sports bar atmosphere and seats up to 40 people.

Space for busy times such as graduation fills up quickly, so hurry and call if you want to book a space. Prices depend on the time and day of use.

Kingfisher

The elegant seafood restaurant Kingfisher has a private dining space referred to as The Green Room. Their collection of local artwork adds warmth to the space.

The Green Room can accommodate small dinner parties of 10 people as well as larger groups of up to 42 guests. The very talented culinary team can create the perfect menu for your entertaining needs.

Locale has spacious patio dining complete with patio games and heating, in addition to the 8,400 square feet of indoor dining. There are multiple private dining rooms that are equally as charming and inviting. Have a pasta party!

The Drawing Room at Maynards is sophisticated and clean. The private dining space offers a view of the mountains and can accommodate up to 40 people with custom-designed menus tailored to your event. The Drawing room is also available to rent in conjunction with their indoor and outdoor spaces for a group of more than 40 people.

North Italia

At La Encantada, North Italia’s Main Dining Room has a spacious layout, modern Italian decor, and natural plants. One of five event spaces, the Main Dining Room allows guests to sit near the open kitchen and seats up to 115 guests.

The Private Dining Room which seats up to 28 guests, has white brick walls, sweeping windows, and red patterned curtains for a pop of color. Their friendly staff will help you select a prix-fixe menu of signature dishes from the standard menu. Food and beverage selections must be selected two weeks prior to your event. Audio-visual equipment is available.

Their front patio, south patio, and west patio are also available to seat a range of 40 – 60 guests.

PY Steakhouse

The Pascua Yaqui Tribe welcomes you to its signature dining experience. PY Steakhouse boasts a separate, private dining room featuring wine-cellar décor and is available for special events and gatherings. It’s an intimate location to host your next fine dining experience.

Reforma Modern Mexican

In St. Philip’s Plaza, the low-hung lighting and the patterned tile floors and walls add a variety of cool textures to the well-designed spaces at Reforma Cocina and Cantina.

Reforma features one of the more elegant Private Dining Rooms, seating up to 50 guests, and provides a 65-inch LED television if you’re trying to be productive.

Outside, the airy patio seats 90 people. The entire restaurant, which seats 175 people, is available to rent as well.

Guests have the option to create a custom menu or order from the main menu.

Reilly Craft Pizza and Drink

Over at Reilly Craft Pizza & Drink, the Beer Garden seats up to 60. With the addition of the outdoor area, they can accommodate up to 200 for casual receptions.

Food is selected from their catering menu and set up buffet style. While the space typically offers only beer and wine as alcohol options, private parties can have a liquor well set up at no additional cost.

Tanque Verde Ranch

With multilpe event spaces available, Tanque Verde Ranch is able to cater to groups large or small. The culinary team is experienced and dedicated to providing the best Southwest flavors.

In line with Italian heritage, Tavolino values cooking, food, and family. The restaurant is open and classy.

Union’s Private Dining Room seats up to 35 guests.

The space is equipped with a 55-inch LCD as well as audio-visual enhancements, making this room great for conferences or meetings. The dark gray walls, string lights, and wine cellar make for a classy atmosphere. The private dining room opens up to the patio for additional lounging.

Guests have the option to create a custom menu or order from the dining menu.

Vero Amore – Swan

Vero Amore is your mid-town solution for your next business luncheon, family gathering, reunion, or other friend-filled get-togethers! Discounts apply for lunch groups between 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. Vero Amore also features select menu items, available for your off-premises affair.

If you’re looking for something more austere, The Still, a speakeasy-style craft cocktail bar located behind a secret wall in the restaurant could be just what you’re looking for.

Vivace Restaurant

The grand architecture of Vivace, nestled at the end of a long driveway, makes for an impressive view before you even step inside. The restaurant’s panoramic windows continue to show off the beautiful mountain views.

Their Private Dining Room is spacious and can seat up to 50 guests. Customizable menus are available.

Over at 1865 E. River Rd., Zinburger’s back patio, also equipped with a fireplace, seats up to 60 guests.
