AAA, known for its Automotive services, insurance, travel, and more, is spreading the love with its new “Favorite Romantic Restaurants in the West” list — just in time for Valentine’s Day, too.

Out of the 11 spots in the west, which includes Arizona, California, Montana, Oregon, and Hawaii, El Corral made the list. It’s actually mentioned first, right off the bat.

“El Corral Steakhouse in Tucson, Arizona, is set amidst authentic desert landscaping, which can be viewed from the spacious windows,” said Gail Saunders of AAA.

“The interior is old-time Western Hollywood glamor with large photos of Western cowboys from movies on the walls. The service is excellent and the atmosphere is relaxed. It is the most original restaurant in all of Arizona. Really worth a trip to Tucson.”

The steakhouse has been grillin’ up the goods since 1939 on River Road making it one of the oldest restaurants in Tucson. Its current location was also considered the “east side” to some because the rest of the town hadn’t been developed yet.
