When Casino Del Sol reopened in 2011, they literally upped the ante with what a local casino is capable of in the culinary department.
Whether it’s white linen fine dining at PY Steakhouse featuring high-end, dry-aged Arizona raised cowboy ribeyes, a street taco experience at Abuelitas, tasting through an extensive agave spirit selection at Tequila Factory, or enjoying a never-ending seafood buffet at Festa, Casino Del Sol is a rare spot in Tucson that’s essentially its own food hall. A food hall, that is, with a casino and hotel attached to it.
Additionally, there’s a classic American diner experience at Moby’s, and a loungy, relaxed experience at Prema, which is situated away from the hustle and bustle of the casino near the hotel and spa entrance. Casino Del Sol even has its own Starbucks on premise.
Granted, one can only eat so much at any given time, so if you’re planning a visit, pace yourself. Depending upon the day you go, there’s a steady stream of local and national entertainment on the regular, gambling, a spa, and golf. But if you really want to do it right, grab a room.
