Event Organizers
Two ways to get your event in front of Tucson.
The calendar is free and always will be — submit your event and it reaches readers planning their week. If you need more than a listing, we run paid promotion across the newsletter, the site and social.

Not from our systems
Social reach and ad impressions sit in Meta and the ad server, not in anything we can read from here. We'll bring the current figures to the call with the date they were pulled, rather than print them alongside numbers we can prove.
What money does and does not buy
Placement is for sale. Coverage is not — which is exactly why a listing here is worth having.
- Listing your event is free
- It always has been. Submit it to the calendar and it goes in front of readers looking for something to do — no fee, no package, no catch.
- Paying does not buy coverage
- A promotion package buys placement, clearly marked as such. It does not buy an article, a review, or a mention in a roundup — our editor decides those, the same way for everyone.
- We will tell you if it is not worth it
- Some events do not need us, and some are too close to the date for a package to work. We would rather say so on the call than take the money and disappoint you.
The free calendar listing
No fee, no package, no conversation needed. Fill in the event form and it goes into the queue our editors work from — the same queue every listing comes through.
Submit your event for freePaid promotion
For an organiser who needs reach rather than a listing. Built per event, because a 60-seat dinner and a 4,000-person market need different things.
The package
A promotion built around your date
We put together a mix across the channels that suit the event and the run-up you have left. Pricing depends on the mix — the individual rates are published on our Brand Partners page, and a package comes in under the sum of its parts.
- A dedicated newsletter placement in the Wednesday edition
- Run-of-site placement across tucsonfoodie.com for the run-up
- An Instagram reel or story set, made by our team
- Inclusion in the events roundup our readers plan their week from
- One point of contact, and a note afterwards on what actually ran
Want the à-la-carte rates before you talk to anyone? They're all listed on Brand Partners.
