Longtime Tucson Foodie favorite Proper will be participating in the 2014 fall Arizona Restaurant Week with a $30 three course menu.

Proper’s food and business model is focused on sustainable, local, and organic and includes partnerships with a number of local and regional farmers, ranchers, brewers, winemakers, and vendors. (They also have a butcher shop, Proper Meat + Provisions, scheduled to open soon).

Proper’s Arizona Restaurant Week menu includes:

First Course

  • Bocadillo Jamon – Jamon Serrano, Aioli, Manchego, Watercress
  • Kale Salad – Farro, Golden Raisins, Garlic and Lemon Vin, Almonds, Parm Reg
  • Proper Salad – Macerated Strawberries, Chevre, Honey Vin, Bee Pollen

Second Course

  • Carnaroli Risotto – Asiago, Shitake Mushrooms, Spring Peas
  • Grilled Chicken Breast – Polenta, Roasted Farm Tomatoes, Bakouti Chili Oil
  • Mussel Frites – Santa Barbara Mussels, Hatch Chili, White Wine, House Cut Kennebec Frites

Third Course

  • Chili & Chocolate Ganache Tart – Vanilla Ice Cream, Nibs
  • Pasita – House Raisin Liquor, Salted Cheese
  • Dulce de Leche Frita – Cajeta
  • Churros & Chocolate
