Who will you dine out for? That’s the question the Southern Arizona Center Against Sexual Assault (SACASA) is asking through their annual fundraising event that seeks to raise awareness of and benefit those affected by sexual assault.
Dine Out For Safety returns to Tucson for it’s 19th year on Wednesday, April 22 with a number of local restaurants participating. The restaurants will donate up to 20% of sales to SACASA to raise community awareness of the organization and sexual violence as a whole.
A selection of the growing list of participating restaurants includes Kingfisher, Gourmet Girls, Vero Amore, Wilko, Noble Hops, Jackson Tavern, and The Coronet. 100% of proceeds from the fundraiser will remain in the community to maintain programs supporting survivors. The Southern Arizona Center Against Sexual Assault is a nonprofit community-based organization that aims to provide education and support for individuals and families who’ve experienced sexual trauma. Dine Out For Safety is held every year in April as part of Sexual Assault Awareness Month.
