If the idea of playing miniature golf, drinking at local bars and raising money for a good cause sounds like your ideal weekend activity, you are in luck. Join in on all three activities with the Men’s Active 20-30 Club of Tucson for its inaugural Tin Cup Open.
Gather a team of four, or play as an individual as you putt between Reilly Craft Pizza & Drink, The Independent Distillery, HighWire Lounge, Playground Bar and Lounge, Club Congress, The Hut, Ermanos Craft Beer & Wine Bar, Public Brewhouse, Sky Bar and Borderlands Brewing Company.
First, fuel up with brunch discounts at The Cup Cafe until 10:30am. Packet pickup and day of registration begins at 9:30 am at Club Congress. There, you will be given your instructions and starting hole for the day. The event will commence with a shotgun start at 12pm. Your team will head out to your first bar to play the unique miniature golf hole at that location. Don’t worry, putters and golf balls will be provided!
It isn’t required, but costumes and entertaining team names are highly encouraged.
Proceeds from this event will go to The Above and Beyond Children’s Foundation, a local non-profit that raises money to keep children involved in extra and co-curricular activities. The foundation funds these programs through grants and scholarships to deserving schools and families in our community.
Pre-registration is $100 per foursome and $30 per individual. Day of event registration is $120 per foursome and $35 per individual. Open to all 21 and over. The cost of registration includes a round of mini golf, drink specials at each bar and the chance to win a variety of prizes.
