Willcox’s Carlson Creek Vineyard have announced the release of a 100% Grenache available now through the Carlson Creek website.

A red wine grape variety commonly grown in Spain and France, Carlson Creek began growing Grenache in 2010.

The grapes were first used in 2012 in one of Carlson Creek’s best selling wines, a Grenache Syrah Mouvedre blend, Rule Of Three.

“With the Rule of Three being one of our highest selling wines, there was no question where the Grenache grapes were going,” said Carlson Creek Vineyard Co-owner Robert Carlson III.

The 2013 Grenache is currently available on the Carlson Creek website. But, get it while you can, because only two barrels of grapes were set aside for the wine.

If you decide to purchase two or more bottles online, Carlson Creek will ship the wine to you for free. Use the promo code “FREESHIP” to apply the discount.

Also, if you don’t already have plans for Easter weekend, Carlson Creek is offering free tastings March 25 and 26.
