CRF Frozen Foods of Pasco, Washington recently expanded a voluntary recall to include all frozen organic and traditional fruits and vegetables. About 358 products and 42 brands are affected.

The products may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, an organism that can cause serious to fatal infections in young children, elders, pregnant women, and those with weak immune systems. Symptoms for otherwise healthy individuals include high fever, headaches, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain, and diarrhea.

Seven people from three different states have been hospitalized due to the Listeria organism in the frozen products.

The recall includes frozen organic and traditional fruit and vegetable products processed in the CRF Frozen Foods facility since May 1, 2014. Recalled products include sell by dates between April 26, 2016 and April 26, 2018.

Consumers are urged to discard any recalled products or return them to the store for a refund.

As of April 25, CRF has stopped all operations at the Pasco location.
