Oro Valley residents can start getting excited for the cookies, sandwiches, and soups of Kneaders Bakery & Cafe.
Kneaders in Oro Valley will officially open on Friday, September 30 at 9600 N. Oracle Rd. A community ribbon cutting will also take place at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 29.
“We look forward to immersing ourselves in the Oro Valley community and aim to make a positive impact on this expanding and spirited neighborhood,” store operator Gustave Johansson said.
The first 100 guests to visit the new location on September 30 and October 1 will receive a free serving of Chunky Cinnamon French Toast. The french toast is made fresh-to-order with Kneaders own chunky cinnamon bread. The meal is served with fresh strawberries, whipped cream, and caramel syrup made from scratch.
Additionally, 10% of all grand opening sales will be donated to a local Oro Valley high school and all unsold bread will be given to Catalina Community Services and Canyon Del Oro.
The Oro Valley store marks the third location in the Tucson area, and the 18th in Arizona. The restaurant will be open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
Kneaders offers sandwiches, soups, salads, and desserts and pastries made from scratch. They also bake 12 types of artisanal European bread daily.
