Slow Food Teams Up With Refugees From East Africa’s Burundi To Host “United Plates of America” Lunch

Slow Food of Southern Arizona and the International Refugee Network are partnering to host United Plates of America at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 25.

The event will feature cuisine from east African country Burundi, prepared by Burundi refugees to promote understanding through sharing a friendly meal.

Pima College Culinary students will assist the refugees with meal preparation.

Seats are $25 per person. To purchase tickets, visit United Plates of America on Eventbrite.
