Casa Asada Taquería y Cervecería earned a spot on the Food & Wine article the 8 Hottest New Taco Spots to Visit in the US.

The blurb goes into Casa Asada’s history, vibes, and menu:

Under the leadership of chef Ben Caballero, Casa Asada is raising the bar of Sonora-style sit-down taquerías in Tucson, Arizona, with a strong nod to Sonora’s capital city of Hermosillo. High-quality steak grilled over mesquite is folded into handmade flour tortillas for Sonora-themed tacos such as open-faced lorenzas and caramelos enriched by molten cheese. The chile verde taco includes steak overlaid with melted cheese and a roasted Anaheim chile in an homage to the fabled Tacos Jaas in Hermosillo. The restaurant offers other meats and vegetarian options and rounds out each northern Mexican meal with sides like queso fundido, guacamole, and refried beans. The taquería also managed to snag a full liquor license, which means there’s a solid bar program with spiked horchata, hibiscus Margaritas, and stimulating Carajillos.
