McAlister’s Deli To Open First Tucson Location May 8

Georgia-based sandwich chain McAlister’s Deli will open its first Tucson location at 735 E. Wetmore Rd. at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, May 8.

McAlister’s has over 350 locations in 26 states.

Menu highlights include sandwiches, sweet tea, and stuffed potatoes labeled Giant Spuds. McAlister’s emphasizes hospitality with free refills, large portions, and smiles.

One of the signature sandwiches, the McAlister’s Club features Butterball smoked turkey, Black Forest ham, bacon, sharp cheddar, Swiss, lettuce, tomatoes, McAlister’s Honey Mustard, and mayonnaise on wheat.

The Spud Max is stuffed with ham, turkey, bacon, cheddar-jack, green onions, black olives and sour cream.

For catering, McAlister’s offers options such as sandwich trays and spud bars.

The Tucson location will feature an On-The-Go pick-up window for advance orders placed online, by phone or through the McAlister’s Deli app.

Operating hours will be 10:30 a.m. – 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10:30 a.m. – 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
