At one million Scoville heat units, the ghost pepper gives habaneros a run for their money.

To help promote the October hot dog of the month — the Ghost Dog — 4th Avenue Delicatessen owner Austin Counts offered to eat a ghost pepper if his post received 100 likes on Facebook and Instagram.

It only took a few hours to reach that goal. Watch the sadistic hilarity in the video above.
