Many of the details vary depending on your group, so check with the restaurant coordinator for details, such as allowance for decorations and if they offer audio-visual equipment.
From British pubs to elegant Italian restaurants, here are our picks for private dining rooms to host your event. This article is an update from our previous private and semi-private dining rooms list, many of which have closed.
In the Mercado San Agustin Plaza, Agustin’s tall ceilings and warm tones make it feel classy and sophisticated. Their private dining room next to the restaurant, The Cabinet Room, has large windows for plenty of natural lighting.
The Cabinet Room can seat up to 70 people, making it ideal for larger parties. For smaller groups, Agustin’s private rooftop area seats 35 guests.
Custom menus can be designed at least 3 weeks in advance of the event and make use of local and organic ingredients in the dishes.
Audio-visual equipment is available upon request.

Arizona Inn is a historic boutique hotel that has been family owned and operated since 1930. The decor is elegant and inspired by the Southwest.
For breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, or cocktail receptions, four different meeting and banquet rooms are available.
The largest space, the Tucson Room, seats 180. Their African Room and Safari Room each seat 150 people and the Flandrau House holds 30 guests.
Wi-Fi and AV equipment are available.

With four options, you’re sure to be accommodated!
Barrio Brewing’s IPA Room is adjacent to where the brewing magic happens. The wooden cabinets are imported from India and make for a global vibe, while the electric blue hops dangling from the high ceilings add to the space’s unique design.
The IPA room is available to rent all nights except Friday. The space seats up to 165 guests and you can expect to pay $200 to rent it. Parties larger than 40 people are encouraged to order off the Banquet Menu.
If you’re looking to accommodate a private party of up to 60 people, the Old Brewery towards the back of the main dining room is available.
The two spaces within the IPA Room are also available. Barrio’s Cellar seats 50 people and the Atrium seats between 30 and 40 people.

The Private Event Room at Borderlands has a down-to-earth vibe. The brick walls are covered in artwork and there’s even a pool table.
The deposit for the room is calculated in regards to the number of people in your party and the day of the week.
Their patio space is also available to rent, with audio visual equipment available.
Borderlands works with three different food trucks that rotate depending on the day.
Pinches food truck, serving tacos and quesadillas, is typically parked out front Monday though Friday. Find Blacktop Grill there on Saturdays, and Substance Coffee Co. on Sundays.

Upscale Mexican dining awaits downtown at Cafe Poca Cosa. Swanky silver booths and globally influenced art make for a chic ambiance.
Their VIP Room seats up to 20 guests. If your party is under 20 guests, other parties might be seated in the room with you as needed.
The menu is the same one offered at the restaurant, updated twice daily.

Canyon’s Crown has a casual vibe with British favorite pub eats, dartboards, and a selection of 20 beers on draft.
The dimly lit Main Dining Room leads to a bright room with cherry-red booths tucked in the back of the restaurant. The Private Space seats 15 people comfortably but can accommodate 20.
With advance notice, a custom menu can be created. Audio-visual equipment is also available.

Commoner & Co’s newly reonovated Private Dining Room seats up to 30 people. The brick walls, hardwood floors, and industrial lighting make for a modern, classy atmosphere.
For mingling, the Cocktail Lounge is also available for rent, accommodating around 32 people.

The open, colorful spaces at Culinary Dropout are heavily decorated with artwork, which adds to their fun and lively atmosphere.
They have several group-dining spaces available to rent. The Coop is their private bar area and accommodates up to 130 people. It is fully equipped with audio-visual capabilities.
The Main Dining Room has a mix of high top tables and regular dining tables, accommodating up to 100 guests.
In addition, the covered patio seats 80 people, with their different lounges accommodating anywhere from 12 – 100 people.

Dante’s Fire has a casual dining space complemented by unique furnishings, such as the stained glass windows near the front door.
A range of events, from catering a buffet to accommodating a simple cocktail hour with various appetizers, takes place within their walls.
The Private Dining Room seats up to 40 people. To book the room, make your reservation at least 72 hours in advance.
In place of a rental fee, a minimum of $300 must be spent on food and beverages.

The classy atmosphere and innovative meals whipped up by James Beard award-winning chef Janos Wilder is sure to wow a party.
The Upper Dining Room at Downtown Kitchen + Cocktails can comfortably seat up to 40 people. Reserve the room at least one month in advance for busy seasons — such as early summer for graduations.
Expect a minimum rental fee of $3,500 in season. Audio-visual equipment rental is a fee.

El Charro brings the Southwest, with sombrero lamp shades and bright paintings, to their cafe. El Charro’s Sonoran-influenced Mexican food has won various awards and has been recognized as one of the top Mexican restaurants in the state and region.
The Patio at the downtown location can seat 60 guests, the Main Room and Wine Cellar each seat 40, and the Toma Rooms have tables that seat 10, 14, and 8.
The Oro Valley location’s Main Room accommodates 70 guests, the Patio can accommodate 35, and their Purple Room seats 45 guests.
At the Ventana location, El Charro’s Red Room comfortably seats 40 guests, the Blue Room seats 24, and finally, their Patio accommodates 24 guests.

As one of the oldest restaurants east of Oracle Road, El Corral’s decor highlights their Wild West roots.
The ranch-themed restaurant’s Round Room is a small, private dining room that the general manager refers to as a King Arthur’s round table. The room can seat up to twelve guests.
There is no cost to reserve the room, so make sure to do so several weeks in advance.

Feast has an upscale-bistro feel. Their small wine cellar and vegetable garden add a rustic touch.
The restaurant changes their menu each month but consistently features vegetarian and gluten-free dishes.
Feast’s Private Dining Room accommodates between 30 and 50 guests. Minimum food orders and room rentals depend on the day of the week and the season. Typically, on Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday nights, a $1,200 food and beverage minimum is required.

Fleming’s Steakhouse features contemporary decor and an award-winning wine selection. The restaurant’s dim lighting and large booths can make even a large party feel intimate.
Their private dining rooms include the Skyline Room, which seats 20 guests, and the Catalina Room, which seats up to 40.
For slightly larger groups, check out the Foothills Room, accommodating up to 50 people, or the Skyline and Catalina Rooms, which both seat up to 65 guests.
Fleming’s rooms have a Cisco conferencing system available for video connection between all other Fleming’s locations and up to five satellite sites.

The Minos Room at Fronimo’s is a casual private-dining space that seats up to 25 guests.
The room, which seats up to 20 people, is designed with benches around the sides. Seating in the formal dining setting is comfortable and roomy, but more people can be accommodated if you’re willing to utilize the bench seating.
Guests order food up at the counter or from custom menus, which are available upon request. Audio-visual equipment is also available.

Hacienda Del Sol has two restaurants: The Grill and the Terraza Garden Patio & Lounge. For private dining rooms, five unique spaces are available between the two.
The Garden Patio & Lounge is available for private parties of up to 150 guests. The patio is heated and air-conditioned, making it a comfortable choice any time of the day.
The hotel’s Joesler Room seats up to 25 guests and includes a private patio.
The Historic Library seats up to 14 guests. Find hand carved wooden beams on the ceiling and natural light from the open windows showing off the view of the resort’s gardens.
The Murphey Room seats up to 20 guests and features a cozy fireplace in the room.
Finally, the North Dining Room has mountain views and accommodates up to 32 guests. The dining space is connected to an open patio called Sandy’s Vista.

HUB Restaurant & Ice Creamery, located downtown, is a popular choice for a gathering. With plenty of natural lighting, high ceilings, and the use brick and rope elements, they’ve created a cozy space with historic flair highlighted by the touches of rustic decor.
HUB’s Private Dining Room seats 27 people at one long table and 5 at a side booth next to the table. Guests may order off a regular menu or create a preset menu. A minimum deposit is required.

A handful of private dining rooms are offered at J.W. Marriott Starr Pass.
Arizona’s culinary traditions are preserved by combining Mexican, Native American, and cowboy influences at their Signature Grill. They host private parties for up to 35 people.
Find Mediterranean eats at Primo, which has a fun and casual dining environment. The Family Table seats groups up to 30 people. They are only open for dinner Tuesday through Saturday evenings.
Catalina Barbecue Co. & Sports Bar has a modern sports bar atmosphere and seats up to 40 people.

Elegant seafood restaurant Kingfisher has a private dining space referred to as The Green Room. Their collection of local artwork adds warmth to the space.
The Green Room can accommodate small dinner parties of 10 people as well as larger groups of up to 42 guests. Chef-owners Jim Murphy and Jeff Azersky work with their culinary team to create the perfect menu for your entertaining needs.

The Drawing Room at Maynards is sophisticated and clean. The private dining space offers a view of the mountains and can accommodate up to 40 people with custom designed menus tailored to your event. The Drawing room is also available to rent in conjunction with their indoor and outdoor spaces for a group of more than 40 people.

At La Encantada, North Italia’s Main Dining Room has a spacious layout, modern Italian decor, and natural plants.
One of five event spaces, the Main Dining Room allows guests to sit near the open kitchen, and seats up to 115 guests.
The Private Dining Room which seats up to 28 guests, has white brick walls, sweeping windows, and red patterned curtains for a pop of color. Their friendly staff will help you select a prix-fixe menu of signature dishes from the standard menu. Food and beverage selections must be selected two weeks prior to your event. Audio-visual equipment is available.
Their front patio, south patio, and west patio are also available to seat a range of 40 – 60 guests.

Playground’s iconic downtown rooftop puts most other private dining rooms to shame. Dance floor by night and event space by day, the Rooftop at the Playground has 60-inch round banquet tables that can seat up to 120 people. Weather protection is available at no additional cost.
The Downstairs Courtyard is open and hip, seating 30 – 50 people depending on furniture requirements. The courtyard has a capacity of 65 with alternative layouts.
The Interior Main Bar is also available for private functions outside of regular business hours – so check in about availability Monday through Friday before 3:00pm. The main bar seats 40-60 guests.
A facility fee and minimums apply for each of the three spaces. Custom menus are available in addition to the in-house event menus.

In St. Philip’s Plaza, the low hung lighting and the patterned tile floors and walls add a variety of cool textures to the well-designed spaces at Reforma Cocina and Cantina.
Reforma features one of the more elegant Private Dining Rooms, seating up to 50 guests. The room provides a 65-inch LED television with an HDMI port that connects to a laptop computer or iPad. You are able to bring in your own decoration and set up an hour prior to the event.
Outside, the airy patio seats 90 people. The entire restaurant, which seats 175 people, is available to rent as well.

Over at Reilly Craft Pizza & Drink, the Beer Garden seats up to 60. With the addition of the outdoor area, they can accommodate up to 200 for casual receptions. Pricing ranges from $750 – $5,000 depending on guest count and date.
Food is selected from their catering menu and set up buffet style. While the space typically offers only beer and wine as alcohol options, private parties can have a liquor well set up at no additional cost.
