Reilly is currently accepting applications for management level positions.

Downtown Italian restaurant Reilly Craft Pizza & Drink announced plans to open a second location on the northwest side at 7262 N. Oracle Rd.

While the project is still in its early stages, the tentative opening date is early 2020. Reilly is currently accepting applications for management-level positions.

The 1,600-square-foot space, which previously housed sandwich chain Subway, will seat around 45 with additional patio seating to come. The restaurant will feature an open kitchen and bar.

“[Tap & Bottle owner] Rebecca Safford reached out to me when the space next door to their north location became available,” said Tyler Fenton, chef-owner at Reilly. “We got excited about the idea of a smaller Reilly, where we could also serve food to the guests at Tap & Bottle, creating two unique experiences side by side.”

“T&B is super excited to have them next door,” Safford said. “When Subway left, we hoped that a local spot with pizza options would be a great fit. The Fentons have been wonderful downtown neighbors and I know their vision for the new location will be a great addition to Cottonwood Plaza. Our customers and staff are going to love having them next door.”

Reilly’s northern location will feature a similar menu with all of the favorites from their downtown location.

“Pizza, vodka rigatoni, and most importantly, the Brussels sprouts will definitely all be there,” said Courtney Fenton, general manager at Reilly. “We wouldn’t want to cause a riot,” she joked.

While the northern location will feature what guests love most about Reilly, the experience will be different enough for northwestern Tucsonans to still make the trip to the original location for the full downtown experience including The Beer Garden and Tough Luck Club, Tyler said.

Also on the horizon, Tyler and team are working on a separate ambitious project downtown; stay tuned for additional details.
