"Thank you to everyone who ruined your lives with us."

It’s the end of a long run for a bar that many Tucsonans treasure. After at least 25 years in business, The Meet Rack is closing its doors and, in the process, selling everything its got in an auction.

If you’ve been branded by Jim “God” Anderson in the past, you already have a piece of history that’ll never go away, but now there’s more you can add to your collection.

The bar is selling barstools, restaurant supplies, signed beer pitchers, stuff on the wall, and items from rooms that only some have been fortunate enough to see.

On Facebook, The Meet Rack posted the following:

“Anything is available at any time. Come and knock on Jim’s door. Have a drink, look around.”

In addition to the auction, a GoFundMe has been set up to show support toward The Meet Rack and Jim “God” Anderson.

The Meet Rack is located at 210 W. Drachman St. Keep up to date with the Meet Rack on Facebook.
