April 26, 2024
By Matt Sterner

Chef Tanner Fleming of The Coronet is hosting a six-course omnivorous prix fixe wine pairing dinner at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 5.

“In the Summer of 2023, Fleming went to Italy and experienced world-class rock climbing and world-class wineries. Offered on this special evening is a dinner featuring some of Tanner’s favorite wines from this amazing Italian summer experience!”

The Coronet is teaming up with Banville Wine Merchants for the wine pairings, featuring wines from Cordero San Giorgio, Lunae, and Parusso.

Also, this multi-course dinner will be hosted al fresco on our main patio.

“This will be an exceptional, not to be missed, event.”

Tickets to the dinner are $250 per person and can be purchased online ahead of time.

During the dinner, they’re hosting a charity raffle for the Iskashitaa Refugee Network.

Sally Kane and the rest of the team at The Coronet will be raffling off a 2015 bottle of Parusso Barolo Mosconi (worth $180), which was donated by Banville Wine Merchants. Also, they’ll be raffling a 2019 bottle of Parusso Barolo Mosconi ($190).

Both bottles are “undeniably incredible expressions of Barolo.”

All proceeds will go to the Iskashitaa Refugee Network, which creates opportunities to integrate United Nations refugees into the Southern Arizona community while educating the public, strengthening the local food system, reducing local food waste, and increasing food security.

The Coronet is located at 198 W. Cushing St. For more information and to purchase tickets to the dinner, visit coronettucson.com.
