There’s a new burger joint in town and they’re dishing out love on a bun in a handful of delicious ways.
Little Love Burger, now open in the former Diablo Burger space at 312 East Congress brings a creative variety of tasty burger options then breaks away just enough from burgers that you might find yourself there whether you’re craving a burger or not.
“We wanted to really harness and create that special place where everyone can come together,” said Executive Chef Griffin Armstrong. “A place to grab a burger prior to a show at the Rialto, grab a quick breakfast sandwich or burrito before work, or visit with family, grab some milkshakes and explore downtown.”
The team over at Little Love Burger put a lot of thought and effort into creating a menu that’s both concise while still catering a broad range of tastes.
In addition to a build-your-own-burger option, there’s just 5 juicy, scratch made burgers to choose from. With Tucson winter in full swing, there’s the Chili Date Burger, which gets a hot dog-inspired topping of beef chili, American cheese, diced onion, and yellow mustard. The BarBQutie gets a treatment of Swiss and cheddar cheeses, smoked bacon, tomato, wild arugula, pickled red onion, and barbecue sauce. If you like it hot, there’s All Spiced Up, which includes pepper jack, jalapeño, slaw, black pepper bacon, tomato, and spicy ketchup.
If you haven’t noticed, it’s all about the chicken sandwich these days. Little Love Burger offers four different antibiotic and hormone free chicken sandwiches. Start with the Nashville inspired Hot Chick, a tasty hot fried chicken sandwich layered with melted pepper jack and piled high with spicy slaw, B&B pickle relish and charred jalapeño mayo. The Oh, Honey features barbecue glazed grilled chicken, sharp cheddar, pickled onion, wild arugula, and honey mustard.
One item you don’t find in abundance too often on restaurant menus in Tucson is hot dogs. Sure, you’ll find Sonoran dog stands – and LLB offers their own version on the menu –Â but outside of the regional favorite, you’ll rarely see other varieties. At Little Love Burger, there are four loaded hot dogs to choose from. And they’re all made with all-beef hot dogs.
The I ♥ NY pays tribute to the city that never sleeps with sauerkraut, yellow onion, spicy brown mustard, and caramelized onions while Netflix & Chili Dog spices things up with beef chili, cheese sauce, yellow mustard, diced jalapeño, and onions.
They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day. If that’s true, LLB’s providing the goods with two breakfast sandwiches and two breakfast burritos to choose from daily:
And last, but not least, don’t forget to grab one of Little Love Burgers’ milkshakes made with HUB Ice Cream.
Little Love Burger is located at 312 E Congress and open Tuesday through Sunday from 9 a.m. – 9 p.m., and until 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday. More information including contact information and full menu is available at littleloveburger.com. Follow Little Love Burger on Instagram.
