South Tucson staple Crossroads Restaurant reopened on Saturday after a two-year hiatus.

The restaurant posted on its Facebook page:

However, the restaurant also posted this morning that the restaurant is closed Monday through Wednesday this week for maintenance. After the temporary closure, they will resume usual operating hours of 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. every day except Wednesday.

Crossroads opened in 1936 as an American-style restaurant serving hamburgers, but eventually incorporated Mexican food and seafood. They established a go-to reputation as a weekend Mexican breakfast and lunch buffet. However, in August 2023, Crossroads closed due to a fire.
