Still hanging on to those Halloween pumpkins? Don’t forget about this weekend’s event at the Community Food Bank. The First Annual Pumpkin Smash will be on 1 – 4 p.m. on Saturday, November 5 at Las Milpitas Farm. Learn about sustainable gardening practices and participate in the pumpkin catapulting competition.

This weekend celebrates Heirloom Farmers Markets’ 2nd Anniversary at Rillito Park. The last two years have been packed with over 80 vendors and 1,500 weekly customers. In order to honor the occasion, the day will include a chef demonstration from Executive Chef Ryan Clark and live bluegrass music from local band, Cadillac Mountain.
