Ah, the holidays.
While there are so many things about this time of year that make it special, like cooler weather, gift giving, and holiday parties, there’s one main thing and that is of course, the food (and drink). Ghini’s is no exception.
This year, Ghini’s has added a variety of holiday food and drink items to the menu. Some of these items are annual traditions at Ghini’s, such as the Eggnog, while others are new items that’ll disappear after the new year begins.
Ghini’s whips up eggnog every holiday season. Made with heavy whipping cream, fresh pasteurized eggs, and spices. Add rum for that extra kick.
The Chocolate Mint Moka includes espresso, dark chocolate, homemade mint simple syrup, and a splash of cream before getting topped with whipped cream
Ghini’s Spiced Orange Cranberry Mimosa features orange juice, cranberry juice, and sparkling wine topped with whipped cream and cranberry sauce.
In addition to Ghini’s regular menu, Chef Satta has added three new seasonal items.
Mexican Chocolate French Toast features Ghini’s classic French toast, which gets dipped in a vanilla chocolate batter and topped with a Mexican spiced chocolate sauce, whipped cream, and cocoa.
The Noël Burger starts with one of Ghini’s classic burgers, the Juicy Bordeaux Gruyere Burger, and layers it with herb aioli, balsamic cranberry glaze, and an herb drizzle. Served on grilled La Baguette roll with a French pickle.
Scratch-made Prime Roast Beef Hash is tossed with oven roasted root vegetables and herbs before getting served alongside crispy hash browns, and two farm fresh eggs. The dish also includes fresh baked La Baguette bread from next door.
Lastly, Ghini’s is offering a variety of gifts for purchase, including jewelry, seasoning and spice blends, and Ghini’s apparel. And it’s the only time of the year to grab a free $25 gift card, which is included with every $100 of gift cards purchased.
December is also Ghini’s Giveaway month. As a way to say thank you to their many guests, Ghini’s gives away a number of gifts and prizes, but you’ll have to head in to the restaurant to enter.
Ghini’s French Caffe is located at 1803 E Prince Rd. For more information, including hours and full menu, visit ghiniscafe.com.
