Sonoran Restaurant Week Returns to Tucson September 5-14

Jul 16, 20251 min read

Sonoran Restaurant Week (SRW) returns to Tucson on September 5-14 to showcase dozens of Tucson’s finest locally owned, most diverse culinary venues.

Now in its seventh year, key components return, including:

  • All fixed-price menus are discounted by 20%, giving you a chance to explore more (for less)
  • The website filters through participating restaurants by cuisine, menu price, Tucson City of Gastronomy certifications, and more
  • On each of the ten nights of SRW, one restaurant hand-picked by Tucson Foodie will be hosting a special private dinner (separate from their SRW menu)

“Sonoran Restaurant Week is important not only because it’s an opportunity for both local foodies and visitors to explore all that Tucson, Arizona has to offer, but also because it drives over $3 million in additional revenue to local restaurants at a time when business is often slow,” said Shane Reiser, head foodie at Tucson Foodie.

Participants and special dinners for Sonoran Restaurant Week 2025 will be announced soon. For an idea of what to expect, view the 2024 participants.

For more information, visit sonoranrestaurantweek.com. Sonoran Restaurant Week is produced by Tucson Foodie and sponsored by Visit Tucson, Rio Nuevo, Shamrock Foods, Merit Foods of Arizona, Tucson Weekly, and Tucson Guide.

@Jundynasty has served Sichuan dishes on Grant Road for 13 years.🌶️

General manager Jacob Yeung credits one idea above all: “We’ve grown since then, but the key has always been consistency.”

Stop in for Flaming Chili Oil, Walnut Shrimp, chow fun, or sautéed green beans finished with Sichuan peppercorns. Vegetarian and vegan options are available.

@Lovinspoonfulstucson is closing after more than 20 years in Tucson. Its final day of service runs on Saturday, Oct. 24.

Customers can stop in between now and Saturday for one last meal. The team plans to sell down its inventory, though it hopes to have favorite dishes available. Regular hours remain 9am-3pm through the final day.

“Running this kitchen has been a labor of love, but the numbers just aren’t adding up anymore, and as parents, we have to make the hard choice to step back and take care of what matters most at home.”
