Andrew Zimmern Singapore Chile Crab

After attending the 2025 Food & Wine Classic in Aspen, Antsy Nancy continues their chef-inspired cooking class series with a flavorful experience drawn from the work of Andrew Zimmern, Emmy-winning TV personality, chef, writer, and four-time James Beard Award winner. Known for his culinary storytelling and exploration of global cuisines, Zimmern has built a career spotlighting the power of food to connect people across cultures.

This hands-on class invites students to prepare one of Zimmern’s boldest dishes, featured during his session at the Aspen festival.

Cooking Class Menu:

Entrée: Singapore Chile Crab (hands-on student cooking with chef demonstration)

Guests 21+ are welcome to bring wine, champagne, beer, or other beverages to enjoy during class (please review Antsy Nancy’s BYOB policy for details).

Note: Andrew Zimmern will not be instructing or attending this class. Neither Zimmern nor Food & Wine has endorsed or sponsored the event. The recipe is publicly available and credited to its original creator. This class is designed to help students build culinary skills by recreating celebrated dishes from world-renowned chefs.

The dual concept comes from the team behind Talega Coffee Co., with coffee and scratch-made breakfast and lunch served during the day, followed by happy hour and bar service at night.

Velvet Cowboy’s grand opening is Oct. 16, with upcoming events including drag brunches, DJs, and live music.🪩
