Embark on a culinary journey like no other at The Cork Tucson’s latest wine-pairing dinner: Around The World in 7 Plates. This month’s experience features bold, globally inspired dishes from Chef Matt Kraiss, each perfectly paired with a thoughtfully selected wine by General Manager Jeff Hughes.

From the fresh, vibrant flavors of Peru to the refined elegance of Italy, the evening’s menu spans continents—featuring influences from Japan, Australia, and beyond. Guests will enjoy seven internationally themed plates, each showcasing creative techniques and bold, diverse flavors.

Jeff Hughes will pair wines from nearly every continent, ensuring each pairing complements and enhances the global flavors on the plate. If last month’s dinner was any indication—an unforgettable evening of food, wine, and camaraderie—this one promises to be truly spectacular.

IOU Sushi III has closed. The all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant on North Oracle Road announced the news on Facebook after about 10 years in Tucson. “This is the hardest post I’ve had to write,” the owners said. Today, owners Pam Santangelo and Kevin Breutzmann keep the Tucson bar exactly as regulars remember it.
