Deep Sky Vineyard Dinner with Kim and Phil Asmundson

Deep Sky Vineyard Dinner with Kim and Phil Asmundson

Sun, Nov 17, 20246:00 PM – 6:00 PM MST

It’s easy to love thy neighbor when thy neighbor produces delicious wine.  In 2010, the year Feast moved into its current building, Deep Sky flung open its doors as well, and our longtime pal James Callahan of Rune start making their wines in addition to his own.  The people who created Deep Sky will be with us on Sunday (yes, despite the fact that we’re not normally open Sundays anymore,) November 17th, at 6:00 pm, and we’re pairing four courses with these delicious wines, and throwing in a little dessert at the end, in hopes that you’ll enjoy the wines as much as we do.  Kim and Phil Asmundson, proprietors and founders of Deep Sky Vineyard, will be on hand to tell their story, but we think the wines themselves have quite a bit to say as well.  If you’d like to join us, please call us at (520) 326-9363 and check out some delicious stuff from our own backyard.

Chilaquiles bring together crispy tortilla chips, salsa, eggs, and cheese in one skillet. Tucson cooks have made the dish their own, and each restaurant adds a different twist. Some go heavy on red or green sauce, others split the two, and many top the plate with a fried or poached egg. From a downtown café to a Marana staple, here are the best spots in town to order chilaquiles.
