While Ferragosto may not be widely recognized in the U.S., its roots stretch back to Augustus Caesar, who introduced the holiday to honor agricultural workers—and, naturally, himself. Over the centuries, it’s evolved, been tied to religious tradition, and celebrated with seaside holidays, summer feasts, and lowered train fares in Italy. In America? It often passes unnoticed.

Each year, Feast embraces Ferragosto as an excuse to transform—just for a day—into the Italian restaurant it never quite is. On Friday, August 15th, expect a playful, poetic take on Italian classics, served all day long. The kitchen will craft a menu inspired by the flavors of Italy, Sardinia, and Sicily, with some dishes leaning into creative liberties.
And the best part?
All Italian wines—bottled and poured—will be sold at retail price, with our usual corkage fee waived for the day.
